Refund policy

We strive to package your order with the utmost care so it arrives in perfect condition. However, once the package leaves our facility, we cannot control how it is handled during transit. If you receive a package that does not meet your expectations, please reach out to us within 24 hours at info@thebooknook.co.za, including supporting pictures. We will promptly investigate the issue to ensure your satisfaction. Thank you for your understanding!

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at info@thebooknook.co.za. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exchanges                                                                                                                 

We are happy to review your request to exchange. Once approved then we will instructed you on postage instruction. All exchange postage will be at your expense.  

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Non-Refundable Situations:

  • Items in used condition and not in their original packaging.
  • Products showing obvious signs of use.
  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Returns initiated after 21 days from receipt.

Refusing delivery is not considered a valid return, and you will not be eligible for a refund. If you are considering refusing a delivery, please contact us first so we can assist you.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
